Canva Create 2025

LIVE EVENTS, MOTION / ANIMATION
I was thrilled to be part of the team working on Canva Create 2025, Canva's annual product launch event held at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. This event is massive, with over 4,500 in-person attendees and more than 6 million online viewers.
My role covered two parts of the event:
First, I worked on R+D motion concepts for the large-scale screen visuals during the event opening, which featured a live piano performance by Jon Batiste.
I also contributed animation to the event's sizzle, which showcased the full slate of product announcements made at the event. While the opening creative ultimately pivoted toward the live performance, the sizzle reel went ahead and became an incredibly rewarding project to be part of.
With producer Katrina wrangling the Canva Sheets and providing expert guidance to an army of creatives, and motion direction led by Phillip Tibbals and Sam Mularzyk, the project came together beautifully. Collaborating with the intensely talented Canva motion team was a highlight of my year.
